A BTMD true account: The Picture and the Story Behind It

This is an excerpt from a much larger interview I did with a major soap star, actor, and model.  A beautiful man on the inside, and an absolutely hot-as-fuck stud on the outside.  The interview was a fun activity for the members of the private group we both belonged to at the time, where people interviewed each other to get to know more about one another.  This picture was always a hot button of the group, referenced many times as something so hot between these two celebrities - both who were members of this group and are as kind, warm, friendly, giving, and gracious as they are sexy, beautiful, and if I may say so... hung as hell.  The guy facing the camera is almost 11 inches long and over 7 inches around.  Woof.  So when I got to interview the one with his back to the camera, I made sure to ask about this photo.  Below is that segment of the interview.  For their privacy, I've changed the names of the celebrities and removed show and/or movie titles.

Me: Okay now to that picture of you and 'Randy'… it’s one of the most tastefully erotic pictures I’ve ever seen.  But there must be more to it, especially while the camera wasn’t clicking.  What can you say about it?

Him:  Wow the story behind that photo is an interview all by itself. I will give you the shortest version I can.

That photo was taken by the amazing Greg Gorman who is sought out by the biggest celebrities for photo shoots and so many of his photos are so famous being on the cover of Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Men’s Health etc.  He is also very famous for his collection of black and white male nudes.

It had been a couple of years since I left <a certain well known soap opera> and was working on a film in Canada called <Name of film removed>. During a break in the shoot I was supposed to do a photo layout and interview for a Men’s Fitness magazine and I had to fly to Los Angeles to meet with Greg Gorman about shooting the photos. I had a layover in Salt Lake City and there were problems with the plane and the flight out to LA got cancelled and I had to wait on stand by for the next flight which took 6 hours. I missed my meeting by about 3 hours, so Greg had another project he had to work on and moved on.

He was doing a calendar shoot of all the hot young male stars of soap nude for a limited edition calendar that would be auctioned off for a Pediatric Aids charity. Randy was the newest hottest thing to hit the soap world in years and was going to be heavily featured in the calendar.

I went right from the airport to Greg’s studio hoping he would still meet with me and he was in the middle of a photo shoot with Randy. Greg told me as soon as he was done with Randy he would meet with me, so I sat and watched. I had never met Randy before and had no clue who he was, but I truly had never seen anything more beautiful in my life. Any roman god would be jealous of him.

They had finished most of Randy’s shoot and was waiting on another soap actor who was going to shoot the cover with Randy. Basically the picture Randy and I did. Greg gets a phone call saying the actor had just been fired from his show and now refuses to do the photo shoot. Greg turns to me as says “You used to be on soaps, would you be willing to shoot the cover with Randy?” I looked at a nude Randy and said, “Are you crazy?    No amount of money would get me to be naked in the same picture as this guy.  I am supposed to do a photo shoot about fitness and I would look like Pee Wee Herman next to this guy. (What an ass I was). Greg then told me that he would not pay me at all. It was for charity and it would be a limited addition of 200 calendars going to the highest bidder. The photos would never be seen by the general public (yea right) and I would have my back to the camera so they would only see Randy’s face and my name would not be used. With all that being said I dropped my pants and said lets go for it.

He had us both sit on the floor and told us that we were madly in love on a deserted Island with no one else in the world around and one of us was about to sail off to find help and may never see each other again. Now kiss and keep kissing like it maybe for the last time.

We both sit on the floor facing each other and Randy extended his hand and says, Hi I am Randy nice to meet you.” I am looking at this guys face and holy cow I start to get an erection and was so embarrassed and told him I am sorry. Randy just smiled and said it is all good. Then we start to kiss and Greg is taking picture after picture and tells us to just keep going. We kissed for a least 30 minutes when Greg said that is a wrap.  We both stood up. I was very dizzy from that amazing kiss and was so relieved to see Randy had an erection as well, but so disappointed it was over. We both got dressed and Randy had to leave and I had my meeting.

A few days later I am sitting in my hotel room and turn on the TV and <certain well known soap opera> is on and I see Randy and turn to my friend and say "Oh my God I just made out with that guy in a photo shoot the other day." and my friend says to me “Yea right, in your dreams.” lol

A few years later Randy and I became good friends through <major male soap star> and <major female soap star>.

Me:  **pauses for a moment to open a window to let the steam out, and catch my breath.**  Whew!
